Glock Fist Retro Fit is a ramping up of intensity, saturated bullet-breaks puncturing adroit melodies and snatched voices. Instead of settling into static patterns, repetition is wrestled with, revealed as a product of difference through its inimitable propulsion. It careers through foreboding vocals, menacing melodies, and adulatory ambience, each an abstraction of the other, mutating with viral imminence as strands are submerged and recombined into increasingly fragile sonic webs.
As Ccru put it, "Jungle functions as a particle accelerator, seismic bass frequencies engineering a cellular drone which immerses the body in intensity at the molecular level...rewinds and reloads conventional time into silicon blips of speed..." (from 'Swarmmachines')

This album is so consistent with it's insane break beats, and so consistent with it's greatness that it's honestly hard to pick a favourite. "306 41dr" is definitely one of them because of how crazy it is, but my favourite is probably "213 213r" because it's cute melody just won me over... pretty much like the whole album, just won me over on a first listen haha dillon.
