Bokehmon scuttles in, a murky aether where the familiar is rendered alien, a psychedelic expedition littered with belching bass and percussive pulses. Less forthright than tracks 1 and 2, Alicia opts instead for a dissolution of familiar form, enrolling a plethora of twisted, machinic sounds abstracted from their industrial origins to construct a cavern of supernal audio. Akin to the off-kilter beats of Metrist, Bokehmon brings together distant breaks and raw, granular tones in a broken techno excursion
This album is so consistent with it's insane break beats, and so consistent with it's greatness that it's honestly hard to pick a favourite. "306 41dr" is definitely one of them because of how crazy it is, but my favourite is probably "213 213r" because it's cute melody just won me over... pretty much like the whole album, just won me over on a first listen haha dillon.
